The City of Clute contracts with the the Brazoria County Tax Assessor / Collector, Ro'Vin Garret, to collect property taxes.

The City of Clute has lowed the tax rate each of the last two tax years, this year lowering the rate from $0.698 to $0.693 per $100 of evaluation.
